    This is a Tutorial for “how to make ur own custom Firmwares and how to flash ur phone without bricking it…This is not just used for hacking ur phone but also used to edit ur firmware, adding preinstalled apps like, rompatcher, free signer, winrar, themes, etc….I am posting this new thread because new fws (v20,v50)are not hackable through Hello ox method…FILE NEEDED: http://rapidshare.com/files/358816260/cooker.rar

    Simplified Tutorial– Download the file given below ( cooker )- Extract it on DesktopFor XP users– install JAF- copy the files from “copy” folder to ” c:program filesODEANJAF- now make this directory:C:Program FilesNokiaPhoenixProductsRM-xxx (RM-xxx = ur RM)- copy ur firmware files in this RM-xxx folder- open “OGM_JAF_PKEY_Emulator_v 5.exe” and press GO- JAF gets loaded- goto BB5 Tab- uncheck ” crt 308″ check ” Normal mode ” ” Manual flash ” ” Use INI ” wait till ini pops up- select ur Phone model and RM- Press Flash- wait for ur phone to rebootand its done………. now enjoy ur updated phone…If this doesn't work, or u get any error:1. turn ur phone off2. connect with pc via usb cable (in off state)3. check, Manual Flash, Normal Mode, Use INI and check “DEAD USB” option in “BB5 Tab”4. click Flash5. turn ur phone on (hold power button) untill flashing is started….6. wait till phone is rebooted…

    For Vista, Win7 usersJust change the compatibility of Jaf, Pkey emulator in properties and select ” run in xp sp2″Rest procedure is same for flashing…Detailed ProcedureINSTALLING AND SETTING UP JAF1. Download the file COOKER2. UNRAR the file to your desktop3. open the folder “cooked”4. open the folder “install”5….Note on you only have to do “STEP 5” if you are using Vista, Windows 2003/2008 server. or Windows 7A. Right click on “JAFSetup_1.98.62.exe”B. scroll down to “Properties”, left click on “Properties”C. Left click the “Compatibility” at the top of the popup window.D. “CHECK” run this program in “Compatibility” modeE. In the select box. select “Windows XP” or Windows XP SP?F. left click “APPLY”, then left click “OK”6. Left click on “JAFSetup_1.98.62.exe” to install JAF to the default location7. Left click on “driver.msi” to install the latest NOKIA USB drivers (N97/N97 MINI) English only8. go back to the main “cooker” folder.9. open the folder “copy”.10. right click on the folder “ODEON”.11. scroll down and left click “copy”12. Wait for INI popup window to open.9. scroll down to your USB FIRMWARE CABLE TYPE10. left click on firmware type (RM-???)Note RM-??? will be your country or region type (mine is, RM-588)11. left click “OK”12. your FIRMWARE FILES ARE SETUP AND LOADED READY FOR FLASHING BY JAF13. in the “Operations Box”, left click on “FLASH”14. your phone will “REBOOT” and the flashing will be started.15. Wait for JAF to restart your phone before disconnected your USB cable.16. setup your phone and enjoy your new cooked firmware.If this doesn't work, or u get any error:1. turn ur phone off2. connect with pc via usb cable (in off state)3. check, Manual Flash, Normal Mode, Use INI and check “DEAD USB” option in “BB5 Tab”4. click Flash5. turn ur on (hold power button) untill flashing is started….It's that simple, no turning off your phone, pressing buttons, removing batteries, etc… And you won't ever brick your phone if you do this way.FINAL NOTES.Always make file changes (replace ROM files) before starting JAF. So JAF loads those changes.

    Main purpose of these thngs:U cn create ur own firmwares…U cn put mods, patches etc on ur fw.U cn customize ur phne the way u want…U cn improve phnes performance…U cn disable certain apps…In short, u can create a brand new phne with things u like…
