AWS partners with Elev8 to offer Digital Skills Training to Africans. The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Training Partner program has welcomed elev8 education, a digital skilling, and transformative education partner. Elev8 will deliver cloud computing skills training developed and maintained by AWS to organizations and individuals in Nigeria and Rwanda.

Although many businesses have accelerated their digital transformation plans this year, Elev8 says innovation and security remain a major problem and goal. Employees with the right cloud abilities are in great demand as cloud technologies quickly help enterprises restructure their businesses. According to Global Knowledge, 90% of IT managers have a strategy to close the skills gap, with 56% believing that training existing employees is the best solution.

“As the future of work unfolds, the cloud has become an indispensable internet technology.” “The cloud computing market has been on a tremendous upward trajectory from the epidemic’s beginning in terms of cloud use, infrastructure, and development,” Elemi Ani, global head of solutions, design, and digital transformation at elev8 stated.

The Nigeria Cloud Computing Policy (NCCP) was released by the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) to increase cloud adoption by 30% by 2024.

“As a result, bringing best practices and training to our partners and clients across Africa has become crucial.” With AWS’ help, we’ll be able to close the gap and enable organizations to enhance how they operate, store, and access data while maintaining a high level of security,” Ani explained.

“Organizations need workers with cloud skills to help transform their business,” says Maureen Lonergan, Vice President of AWS Training and Certification. IT workers with AWS Cloud expertise are in high demand. AWS Training and Certification, in collaboration with AWS Training Partners like elev8, strives to empower today’s and tomorrow’s builders with the knowledge they need to utilize the AWS Cloud’s power.”

Elev8 is on a mission to positively impact the areas in which it operates. Elev8 conducts digital skilling and education programs in collaboration with governments, businesses, and technology corporations to equip individuals with the necessary digital skills to succeed in technology positions.
