9. Tunis, Tunisia
When we talk about the beautiful cities in the north of Africa, this sprawling city of Tunisia which sits along Lake Tunis can’t be left out. Being the capital of Tunisia isn’t the only reason it radiates beauty. There are lots of things to explore right here which include the centuries-old medina and the Bardo (this is an archaeology museum where celebrated Roman mosaics are displayed in a 15th-century palace complex) and a whole lot more.
10. Cairo, Egypt
Still talking about cities in the northern parts of Africa, yet another amazing capital city, Cairo, the capital of Egypt is one that must be considered.
This seems to be one of the oldest cities in Africa. It houses a vast museum, a trove of antiquities including royal mummies and gilded King Tutankhamun artifacts. The sight down in Cairo is really amazing and a must behold to say you’ve seen the best and most beautiful places in Africa.
