15. Algiers, Algeria
Algiers is yet another beautiful city in the North of Africa known for her whitewashed buildings of the Kasbah, a medina with steep winding streets, Ottoman palaces and a ruined citadel.
It is currently the capital of Algeria. As seen by some, it has been described as a city of rare beauty and of thrilling, disorientating and sometimes brutal contrast.
16. Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Addis Ababa is the capital of Ethiopia, a place of ancient culture. It is sometimes referred to as the capital of Africa and no doubt, a place dubbed the capital of Africa sure has what to show for it.
Some of the amazing things you’d find here include the National Museum where there are exhibitions of Ethiopian art, her traditional crafts, and prehistoric fossils. It definitely is a city to behold.
