Follow the below simple steps to activate any of the plans.
How To Activate Etisalat N1000 for 1GB Data Plan
To get this up and running, simply dial *229*2*7# and N1000 would be deducted in exchange for 1GB internet data plan.
How To Activate Etisalat N2000 for 2GB Data Plan
Just like the plan above, simply dial *229*2*8# on your phone and get 2GB data for N2000 only.
Note that both plans have a validity period of 30 days. And to check your data balance on Etisalat, all you need do is dial *228#.

It does work. How did you go about it? Firstly recharge and make sure you have up to N1000 airtime on your line, then dial *229*2*7# . You’ll receive a confirmation SMS.

We realized that it only worked for selected lucky sims and isn’t available to all Etisalat subscribers. Sorry if it didn’t work for you.
the code u gave for the 1gb for #1000 is correct but for now not every one can dial it and have it because it is not a launched product yet. For you to have that plan, u must receive a text from Etisalat telling you to dial the code , otherwise it won’t go through. U can add that info

Pls, I dialed *229*2*7# for 1GB data u deducted my 1000. later I dialed *228# in order to see the 1GB balance but I never see it
