For those who don’t know what nofollow and dofollow backlinks are I’ll love to give an explanation.

What Is A Dofollow Backlink?
A do-follow link is a link that passes on the SEO benefits of the website where it is built from to the hyperlinked site. This is the type of backlink that link builders will create for SEO purposes. What Is A No Follow Backlink?
A no-follow backlink is basically a link that does not pass on the SEO benefits of the source site to the blog where the link points to. In short, no-follow links do not have any SEO value at all, and they will not add up to the link profile that search engines use to evaluate when ranking websites. Search engine bots will crawl on this link, but they will not literally follow where it is pointed to.

The nofollow backlink was introduced by Google in 2005, with purpose to discourage spam contents. This feature gives webmasters an option wether or not to allow search engine bots crawl a link on their website thereby affecting the external link by positively influencing it’s ranking on search engines.

2: Nofollow links discourage search engine bots from follow your link, thereby not proving you with any juice to rank despite the link is gotten from a high pageranke site.
