- Get WhatsApp uninstalled from your Android or iOS device.

- As soon as the app is set up, you will receive a prompt telling you to restore messages from a cloud backup. This backup would be from Google Drive on Android, and iCloud on iOS. Click Restore.

2. Restore Deleted WhatsApp Chats Via Android’s Local Backup

- Head to your device’s File Manager (download Google’s Files app if you fail to locate this app).
- Now head to the WhatsApp folder > Database. The Database folder is home to all the WhatsApp backup files that are stored locally on your device.
- Choose the file msgstore.db.crypt12 and have it renamed to msgstore_BACKUP.db.crypt12. This is your latest backup file and it has to be renamed to stop it from being overwritten.3.
- that, a lot of files would be visible in this folder in the format msgstore-YYYY-MM-DD.1.db.crypt12. They are your older WhatsApp backups, you can choose the latest one and rename it to msgstore.db.crypt12.
