There has been rumors lately about HP launching a slate device, but to the shock and amazement of the tech mobile world, they launched 2 devices of 6 Inch and 7 Inch Phablet and Tablet respectively.
In the rave of the moment, you would expect no other OS running on those devices except the Android OS. They both run the Android 4.3 Jellybean OS.
Both smart android devices have front-facing stereo speakers and IPS displays (1280 x 800 for the tablet and 1280 x 720 for the phablet) for better viewing angles. Front (5 megapixels) and back (2 megapixels) cameras are also built-in, as expected of any device today.

But for now, the devices would be firstly made available to the Indian market by February before other possible regions would be tasted.

Any idea how much will be the price for these devices?
I think HP will face lots of competition in the market because earlier Lenovo also introduced phones but couldn’t find any success.
They would definitely face a lot of competition. For now, there prices are not yet cleared. I would keep you updated.
Please are these the first mobile phones produced by HP?
