Leading smartphone manufacturer, Huawei, in partnership with Finet on Monday October 3 treated smartphone and technology enthusiasts to an exciting independence anniversary experience at the Obafemi Awolowo Glass House, following the launch of the Huawei GR5 Mini last month.
The initial launch, though being an exclusive event, was of course a blast with the presence of Nigerian celebrities like Omawumi, Timi Dakolo, Noble Igwe recorded on the 9th of September at Lekki colliseum amongst others in attendance.
Being an exclusive event, most loyal customers were not able to attend. Thus, with the trade launch event, Huawei brought a similar experience to the heart of the city in an area very central to where most consumers reside – Ikeja, Lagos.
“The GR5 Mini is the perfect combination of style, design and technology. Although the first launch was a success, we felt the need to do another launch event for our loyal customers who were not able to attend and give them a chance to experience the latest in Huawei technology,” said, Mr Leo Jiang, Managing Director, Devices of Huawei Nigeria.
The Finet Experience Center is one of Nigeria’s largest mobile phone stores, and sits at the center of Lagos ICT hub, so it was the perfect place to host the media launch.
The customers in attendance weren’t left out as they were gifted with vouchers while those who wished to purchase other Huawei smartphones won cash gifts and accessories such as selfie sticks, notepads, Bluetooth speakers, and lots of other mouth watering goodies.
The Huawei GR5 Mini, which has been widely labelled the King of fingerprint, combines an elegant chic design with powerful specifications and numerous features. It comes with a Full HD (1920x1080p), 5.2? display along with 64-bit Octacore processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM. It has a good 13MP rear and 8MP selfie camera with LED Flash, a new generation 2.0 Fingerprint sensor technology, 3000 mAh Battery, and OS Android v6.0 Marshmallow.
