Hello readers, I’m glad to bring to you a pro blogger you’ll love to meet, a great personality, a pillar in the blogosphere.
Today with me is the founder of HowToUncle.Com, a geek and tech blogger from conception, I was refered to his blog from a blogging community then after reading one of his hot posts “Three Principles to Boost Your Website Conversion Rate” I got interested in this fellow, and I must confess it has’nt been bad on the long run.
Amit Kumar: Sure we are good to go.
Hi Larry, first of all thank you so much for having me here on oscarmini.com. It’s my pleasure to be here with all of you to share something about me and my blog
My faithful readers would love to know more about you. Would you please introduce yourself to them?
I am Amit Kumar from India (Jharkhand) who loves to do blogging than anything else in the world. I’m an Engineering (Electronics and telecommunication) student and it’s my final year of B.TECH. In present time, I have focused only on two things first is my study and second is Blogging.
What motivated you to start HowToUncle and how has it been on the long run?
Actually, I am living with my four senior mates from two years. They all are Computer Science Graduates and working with well-known Software Companies. We always discuss on several technology topics and SEO related things. The frequent Conversation on these things provided me an idea to share technology related tips with people. And thus i started to write technology articles on the blog for the people’s regular use. I started my blog (HowToUncle.com) in 2013 just with fun and now for the past 9 months it has become a habit and a passion for me. Now i am blogging very aggressively and doing lots of search to grow my blog in a natural way.
What are the biggest mistakes you’ve made since you started blogging as a career? And how did you overcome them?

Well, when i started my blog (Howtouncle) then at the beginning blogging it was just like a part-time job for me. But now i am in love with my Blog and like to spend all the time with blogging. Frankly, i have still not made any biggest mistakes because currently i am in starting stage of Blogging and I have to learn a lot of things from other popular and expert bloggers. According to me, i have made a mistake four months back and that was when i stopped writing articles and links building (You can say, i was about to give up) till 22 days because i was not getting expected visitors on Howtouncle. To overcome, I read about 20 to 30 motivational articles of expert Bloggers, inspirational books. After that i realized what mistake i have done. I have created an article about it, you can read from here:
How to Maintain Your Passion and Interest for Blogging
Wow! somthing similar happened to me sometime ago. So what gets you inspired as a blogger?
Blogging = Freedom of expressing your words and you are the only responsible for your work results. I want to live a free life along with lots of joy. The work of Great Bloggers like Amit Agarwal, Neil Patel, Pat Flynn inspire me a lot.
Your blog posts are pretty cool please can you tell us how you’re able to come up with such quality posts?
This is really a very nice question and i would like to say one thing that at first understand your audience then create articles for them not for search engines. To know, what people want? I regularly visit on various forums, question answer sites, and read the comments asked by people. After that i go to create articles.

Wow! that’s equivalent to the pay of some company workers over here. hopefully you have a mentor, let us know who your mentor is and how he contributed to your success
Complete credit goes to Sourav sharma (the founder of IndiaMapia and full-form.in), who supported/motivated me in every step. He is one of the most helpful and kind person i have ever met in my life. When first time i discussed with him about starting a Blog; He said me “let’s start right now”, why are you waiting if you want to do so. Even, the Domain name of my blog (HowToUncle) is also suggested by him. I like to follow his advice and he is just like my big brother.
As a pro blogger what changes do you think we have to make on techribs?
Hey Larry, you are doing a great job. According to me, you need to make two important changes on techribs:
(1) Create articles on a particular topic, not on all topics. People love to read those websites that are popular in specific niche.
(2) Link Building on popular sites
It’s really nice you could tell us where we are lacking behind, thanks for that. So what do you advice young bloggers who wish to be successful in their blogging career?
I would not bother you all by saying lots of words; i want to just say that if you have these three things; Consistency, Hard work and Patience then anyone can’t stop you from being successful.
Thanks Amit Kumar
It’s all my pleasure being here
That’s Amit Kumar, I hope you’ve been motivated by this chat on techribs. You might also want to connect with him, you can do that below.
