It is the desire of every blogger to build a popular and successful blog in their niche, but what they tend not to understand are the simple workarounds in achieving such a task.

Actually, there isn’t a difficult part to building a famous blog, it only requires some few points which I’ll outline in this article, and hardwork which really pays in the long run.  You can build a successful and famous blog by reading the points carefully and implementing them on your part.

How To Build A Famous Blog

1. Blog Commenting

I always love to say this, commenting on other related blog in your niche is one of the best ways of getting your blog to new readers and subscriber who are also in your niche. When I talk about comments, I mean leaving useful comments that can add or contribute a valid point to the host blog post in question. Other readers would love to know more about you, and they’ll click through your blog link to see your blog. Comments also grabs the attention of the blog owner you commented on. They also will in turn check out your blog. One thing to note is, the more the comments, the more popular your blog becomes.

2. Guest Blogging

This point can never be overemphasized. I must confess I’ve not been doing this lately, but I really went a long way in building our reputation in the early days. The few guest posts I have written on other popular blogs, turned in a great number of fresh readership to my blog, and in turn increased my blog’s popularity. Guest posts go a long way in promoting your blog. You can start out by writing a guest post for us.

3. Social Media

With the increase in the usage of the social networks, you too can gain a lot of readers using the social networks to promote your blog posts. Build up your Twitter followers, Facebook Fanpage likes and other related social network profiles. Try to follow authority blogs on social networks, retweet or share their updates, they will take note of you, and who knows, they might even end up linking up to you or also Sharing/Retweeting your updates also. Social Media works a great deal in making a blog become popular.

4. Join Blogging Communities

I’m a member of numerous blogging communities and I sure can testify to the fact that they have really taken my blog to the next level. Joining blogging communities would expose you to a lot of other bloggers, new ideas, and lots more that can help in promoting your blog and in turn make your blog famous. Blogging Communities can range from communities like BlogEngage, Gather, and even Facebook blogging groups.

    Tnx oscar but i dont think u get it…check my blog http://www.badootech.com , the img excerpt is there already but its default wordpress image that iS there..What i actually wanna knw is hw to change that default image to my own image when i make a post..pls reply

      Ok, now I understand you. On the right sidebar while making a blog post, there is a place written “Set Featured Image”. click on it, a new window will pop up to upload your image, do that an you see a link with “Use as featured image”, click on it. And that’s it.
