Incase you missed it over the weekend, Mark Zuckerberg Meta founder and billionaire is training with Nigeria-born mixed martial arts champion Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski amidst a potential cage fight with his favorite rival, Elon Musk.
On Thursday, 13th of July Israel Adesanya posted a picture of himself and the billionaire training on Twitter with a caption that said, “We both have South Africans to deal with”.
Israel Adesanya is set to fight Dricus du Plessis a South African in an Ultimate Fighting Championship in September and Elon Musk just happens to be a South African, hence the caption.
This public bickering between these tech billionaires started in 2016 when Elon Musk’s company SpaceX failed and destroyed the satellite. Zuckerberg made a Facebook post afterward saying, “deeply disappointed to hear that SpaceX’s launch failure destroyed our satellite.”
Their beef came back to light after Mark Zuckerberg launched his new app called Threads, nicknamed “Twitter Killer” by techies. With the platform reaching 10 million users in the first seven hours Elon Musk got a little bit feisty, suggesting “a literal dick-measuring contest.”
The 52 years old billionaire, Elon Musk also took to Twitter, “I’m up for a cage match if he is lol” and the 39 years old Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg agreed. We’re not sure when and where this fight is taking place, but we know Zuckerberg is training for it.
