Meet Gionee M6 and Gionee M6 Plus which both feature all-metal clad body. These are successors to the Gionee M5 which we tag to be the monster battery device, though the Gionee M6 series still maintain the monster battery as well.
The Gionee M6 features a 5.5-inch FHD AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080p. Further this device comes with a gigantic 5000mAh battery which supports 9v/2A fast charge. The Gionee M6 Plus and the M6 also come with reverse charging ability, what we mean is that they can serve as Power Banks as well.
The Gionee M6 and M6 Plus are said to come with an encryption chip, this provides security cover for all your data, call logs and other records on your phone as well. For now we know that this feature will not be available on the overseas version of the M6, maybe for regulatory sake.
These two devices are both powered by the MediaTek Helio P10 processor and both sports 4GB of RAM, they come in two variants which feature 64GB on-board storage and 128GB storage on-board. They both run Gionee’s Amigo 3.5 OS based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and have full network support.
