Innjoo no doubt is one smartphone manufacturer that has been coming strong on African smartphone users with affordable devices and yet nice specifications. We did announce the launch of two new devices from Innjoo few weeks back of which were the Innjoo Fire Plus and Halo.

Innjoo Halo Unboxing and First Impressions

We got our review copy of the Innjoo Halo about 2 weeks back and due to some reasons, we delayed with the unboxing video and our first impression on this smartphone. Below is a video of the Unboxing.

If you can’t find time to watch the video, you can still go ahead reading as you won’t be left out.

Innjoo Halo Quick Specifications

  • 5.0″ Display with 480 x 854 px resolution
  • 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM
  • 1.2GHz Quad Core CPU
  • Android 4.4.2 Kitkat
  • 5MP & 2MP rear and front facing camera respectively
  • 3200mAh Battery
  • Dual Micro SIM slots

So Revealing what’s in the box

On opening the box, you are welcomed with the device itself while every accessory is kept beneath the device.

Volume Rockers and Power Button

Getting the device off the box, you’ll realize that the power button and volume buttons are all placed on one side (to the right) of the device. Also, notice the 5MP rear camera positioned with an LED flash and loudspeaker on each side.

While the Micro USB is left to have the left side of the Innjoo Halo.

Here are the accessories this device ships with which include, a Micro USB 2.0 cable, a USB to Wall socket charger and an earpiece.

First Impressions

Though the Innjoo Halo at first sight might not sport a metal or Kevlar finish as some might wish, it definitely features a decent specification sheet for the price as shown above.

So far, having a device with both power button and volume keys on same side seems a little awkward in my opinion, who knows, it might feel better with others. Anyways, we’ve been making use of this device for some time now and would do a detailed review in 3 days time. Remember that this device sports a 3200mAh battery. Would it translate to a longer day to day battery usage? We’ll find out in the review.

Feel free to let me know what you think about this device as it does retail for N14,000 only as can be seen HERE.

This smartphone is pretty decent with display size and battery, but resolution is pretty low.
