Samsung Gear S2 Smartwatch Coming Your Way Soon. Specs Inside

You think the over hyped Apple Watch is best smartwatch around? No no no, Samsung is here again with the Samsung Gear S2 smartwatch. The Samsung Gear S2 smartwatch actually made it debut appearance last year in China but little was heard about it since then.

Well, latest in the tech scene is that Samsung has finally decided to bring to India today and by extension, it means Nigeria should be getting a taste of it soon. Okay before then let’s run over the specs.

Quick Specs

The Samsung Gear S2 sports a circular watch face design and the interesting bit is its 1.2-inch ‘full circle’ design. This circular dial allows you to navigate and interact with the watch. The 360 x 360 pixel Super AMOLED display gives a 302ppi pixel density. The display will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

The smartwatch is powered by a Samsung Exynos 3250 chipset which houses a dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz which is paired with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. Running on the Tizen OS, the Gear S2 comes in three variants – Gear S2, Gear S2 Classic and Gear S2 3G which has a different chipset powering it that offers 3G connectivity.

For now we have no information regarding how much Samsung for the Gear S2 smartwatch so your sure bet is to stay tuned here for update.
