Tecno’s Pova series of phones is expanding yet again. Last week, Tecno launched the Pova Neo 5G, and now we are getting the Pova Neo 2, which is a direct successor to last year’s Pova Neo (4G).
With a 7,000mAh battery and a MediaTek Helio G85 processor, the Pova Neo 2 makes its debut in the international market in Russia. A 90Hz refresh rate display, dual rear cameras, and 18W fast charging are all features of the brand-new Pova series device.

The Tecno Pova Neo 2 has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a plastic back. The smartphone has a 6.82-inch HD+ display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The handset has a 16MP sensor as well as a secondary depth sensor for optics. The front camera module has an 8 MP sensor and an LED front flash.
The phone’s chipset is MediaTek’s Helio G85 SoC, which is paired with two memory configurations: 4 to 6 GB RAM and 64 GB/128 GB storage space. A memory card can be used to add additional storage. The phone runs Tecno’s latest HiOS software on top of Android 12.
On the back, there are only two cameras: a 16MP main sensor and a 2MP macro camera. With AI features and filters, video recording will most likely be limited to 1080p 30 FPS. Inside the punch-hole cutout is an 8MP selfie camera.
