Day by day, the rate of data consumption in Nigeria increases also with the price of data and the most affected internet freaks go into research for data plans that are cheap and therefore, affordable.
After reviewing the data plans offered by the four (4) Major Network Providers in Nigeria; MTN, Airtel, GLO and Etisalat, I decided to Post Here, the cheapest and most affordable of the Plans.
Airtel:
Airtel Offers the most cheapest plans in Nigeria, though they are Blackberry plans, they also work on other devices unlike other network’s. You can get Unlimited data which is capped 2GB at 1,500 Naira for 30days by dialing *440*16#. Incase this doesnt work for you, just add a 10MB daily data of 100 Naira to it and start rocking. Also, you can get 3GB for Night only at 2,500 Naira by dialing *141*12*6# for 30 Days. The later plan works on all devices
MTN:
MTN offwrs one affordable plan. Though its a night only plan, but currently, it works during the day. You can get 4.5GB at a rate of 2,500 Naira. The plan gives you 3GB for 2,500 Naira with a bonus of 1.5GB, making it 4.5GB alltogether. Once the 1.5GB finishes, you can only use it at night. You can subscribe by sending 102 to 131.
GLO:
GLO data are not really cheap, but they are currently on a promo which lets you Enjoy double the data every time you subscribe to “My Phone” Bolt Plan. You now get 1.6GB instead of 800MB when you subscribe to this plan.
Dial *127*55# or send ’55’ to 127 and get double the volume instantly. Plan costs N2,000 for 30 days.
Etisalat:
Actually, there is no cheap plan on this network. The network is recommended for people who do not use much data. You can get 200MB for N1,500. Actually, this is the cheapest on Etisalat but it aint recommended for people who use high data.
This is how far we can go. For appreciation, suggestion, recommendation and correction, pls, use the comment box. Thanks.
