It was few months back when the RIM allowed the Blackberry Messenger (BBM) to run on both the iOS and Android operating systems. But one thing that keeps most mobile users wondering is why they had to bypass the Windows phone and symbian mobile operating system.
Of course we know that the symbian platform is way out of the mobile scene, but what can be the true reason why the Blackberry Messenger is yet to come to the Windows Phone OS? If they actually want BBM to compete with Apps like WhatsApp in terms of reach, then this option can never be overlooked.
There are rumors that BBM for windows phone 8 devices is in progress according to the report from some hidden BlackBerry’s officials. This would really be great news for Windows Phone OS lovers like me.
According to the report, Nokia Lumia 520, Lumia 620, Lumia 625, Lumia 720, Lumia 820, Lumia 920, Lumia 1020 and all Nokia and HTC devices running the Windows Phone 8 (WP8) platform will be getting the update early from those devices running Windows Phone 7.5 Mango like Nokia Lumia 510, Lumia 610, Lumia 710, Lumia 800 and the Lumia 900.
We all pray and hope this turns out to be true and get’s officially released by the Blackberry Team. Share your thoughts.
