“You can now buy a Tesla with Bitcoin” This is the exact tweet by Elon Musk the owner of Telsa who goes by the Twitter handle @elonmusk.
In a follow-up thread, he added “Bitcoin paid to Tesla will be retained as Bitcoin, not converted to fiat currTesla is using only internal & open source software & operates Bitcoin nodes directly. Bitcoin paid to Tesla will be retained as Bitcoin, not converted to fiat currency”.
What does this imply?
In his Tweet, Elon Musk simply made it clear that bitcoins could be used in purchasing Telsa vehicles and not necessarily dollars.

In essence, he declared there is no intention to convert the bitcoin to dollars it means he intends that it remain as bitcoins and probably supplement Tesla’s rising Stocks.

This only strengthens the fact that Bitcoin and indeed cryptocurrency is gaining ground in financial transactions worldwide as many organizations, entities, and individuals continue to take bold steps in accepting payment in areas where Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency have never been used before.
