Have you ever tried listening to slow music to sleep but you end up crying yourself to sleep instead? Spotify got you covered with this new collab.
Spotify has partnered with Calm to provide relaxation and sleep content to support anybody with mental health issues and insomnia through the music-focused streaming service.
Calm is an app that focuses on providing content for sleep, meditation, and relaxation.
If you already have an account with Spotify, there are free Calm content that will be available for you. Some will require a subscription or free trial. You can find some shows from Calm on the Spotify app already, some of these specially curated shows are Calm for Beginners, Calm for Stress and Anxiety, Calm for Meditation, Calm for Sleep, Calm for Kids, and Camila Cabello’s mindful show.
If anything, I love how this app’s goal is to cater to the well-being of people struggling with mental health-related issues. Music has a very strong impact on our minds and listening to content that liberates your mind is a wonderful addition to society.
Calm partnering with Spotify has brought more attention to it, I know a lot of us didn’t know about it before now.
In a press release, Calm said, “One of the challenges of practicing mindfulness is finding time for it amid the many demands of day-to-day life,” “That’s why we’ve teamed up with Spotify to make some of our best content conveniently available in the Spotify podcast catalog.”
Health is wealth.
