We sure do know that everything has gone touch-touch, touchy! I could still remember the horrible experience of pressing some tough buttons to get things done on my mobile phone few years back. With technological evolution the world has really moved from buttons to touch screens.
While there are many amazing laptops in the market with touch screen functionality, if yours happen to come without one, you don’t need to replace your whole computer to get the functionality. At CES, Neonode showed off the AirBar, a $49 peripheral that connects to a USB port and gives any display touch capability. The company plans to ship the AirBar in May. The Airbar uses invisible light to detect where your finger is on the screen and provide that feedback to the computer.
You may not need to bother about the OS or size of your laptop as Neonode has saidĀ that the AirBar will work with laptopsĀ running Windows or Chrome OS. The AirBar will come in four sizes to support most displays: 11.6 inches, 13.3 inches, 14 inches and 15.6 inches.
