We all have waited patiently since the rumors of Cortana’s arrival to the Android OS. Infact, not until today, the app had been in closed Beta.
That’s all history as you can now have the Cortana assistant run on your android device if you don’t mind running beta software on your android devices as this app has now gone public beta and can be downloaded from the Play Store here once you accept the beta tester agreement on the Google app store.
You get to enjoy most functionality such as to set and get reminders, search the Web, track flight details, and start and complete tasks across all of your (Cortana-running) devices which you get also on Windows 10 devices straight too on your android device. And just like the famous “OK Google”, don’t you think we should be able to simply invoke Cortana by simply saying “Hey Cortana”? We are now hoping for this feature soon.

Cortana is a lovely assistant, it makes life easily. If you have Windows 10 installed on your PC you’ll agree with me. It’ll be nice to see Cortana on Android devices also.
