The World’s To See Another Dual-Screened Smartphone by Dec 3

This is probably not the first time you are reading about a smartphone that is two faced, we have actually brought one to your notice in previous posts. But this time, a dual screened smartphone codenamed Yota 2, from a Russian company would have it’s debut by 3rd December 2014.

The deal here is that the second screen is a fully-touch sensitive e-ink display that can handle the phone’s core functions such as calls, texts, emails and more. This of course would save you a bunch of battery life instead of using the energy hungry LCD screen on the other side.

From the few I could gather, the specifications is not far from a 140g device dimensioned at 144 x 69.5 x 8.9 mm. A 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 CPU, 2GB of RAM, 8MP and 2MP rear and front facing camera respectively.

What do you think about this smartphone? What are your speculations about it’s pricing? I guess we’ll have to wait and find out ourselves in about 3 weeks from now.
