  • Nexus 6P
  • HTC 10
  • OnePlus X

Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge

This is the top choice for many people. The S7 Edge smartphone features the latest Snapdragon 820 processor, the Adreno 530 GPU and has a 4 GB of RAM.  This combination allows it to perfectly take everything thrown at it from high definition games to playing mobile bingo on apps with great graphics such as www.bingo-apps.co.uk.  The device is pricey as a flagship but it is the perfect option if you are looking for two years of solid mobile gaming performance.

Nexus 6P

The Nexus 6P has the Snapdragon 810 processor from 2015 and Adreno 430 GPU making it stand almost toe to toe with the S7 Edge. The two components are complemented by 3GB RAM and a 5.7-inch AMOLED screen.  These combine to deliver a stunning looks and stellar performance at a reasonable price.  Even if you only play graphically demanding games for long periods, you won’t notice frame rate drops with this smartphone.  The big screen is a huge hit with many gamers as it offers you enough room to enjoy the HD graphics.

HTC 10

If you love your game sound, HTC 10 is the option to stick with. The BoomSound audio has been a major selling point for HTC but on the HTC 10, they have added a new dimension. They separated speakers used for trebles and mids from the subwoofer. The sound is an impressive feature of this phone but it is not the only talking point. The phone packs 4GB RAM, Adreno 530 GPU and Snapdragon 820. There won’t be any performance issues!  Worth noting, however, that the screen is not AMOLED. HTC went with the Super LCD 5 technology on this one. The untrained eyes will not notice the difference however and your gaming experience will not be affected.

OnePlus X

The OnePlus X has the Snapdragon 801 processor from 2014 which could make it less desirable for many. However, it is still able to hold its own against other big hitters on this list. It won’t perform as fluidly as the costlier options covered here but it is value for money. You will notice frame rates bouncing around once in a while but it won’t stutter and you are guaranteed 40 fps on average. Additionally, the phone ships with a 5.1 inches screen which may look very small for some. However, these are sacrifices many won’t have issues with at the price range.

These are the top smartphones you should consider if mobile gaming is priority in your choice of smartphone. The S7 Edge is the best if budget isn’t an issue and the OnePlus X will save you money whilst offering decent value.
