Ifeoluwa Dare-Johnson and Victor Amusan founded Healthtracka in Lagos in May 2021. Through the website, users can schedule tests, collect samples at their homes, and receive results via email.

Healthtracka has partnered with three reputable labs, vCare Diagnostics, Lancet Laboratories, and Afriglobal Medicare, who provide phlebotomists who go down to patients’ houses to collect, analyze, and return samples results in 2 days.
Users can book lab tests on the Healthtracka website, including COVID and complete blood count testing and fertility and STD tests. After clients obtain their results, Healthtracka also provides expert consultation.
Dare-Johnson, the co-founder of Healthtracka, stated that one of the reasons clients visit their website is for privacy. So far, the company has facilitated 50 different medical tests. So far, the platform has recorded 7,000 tests requested by 5,000 users at home. It employs 700 phlebotomists in seven Nigerian cities: Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Benin, Kaduna, Ilorin, and Ibadan.

The company is taking three approaches to pursue more growth and diversify its revenue streams. First off, it is introducing subscription plans for its retail customers. The second is banking on its B2B strategy, providing APIs to telehealth service providers, hospitals, and pharmacies to provide at-home blood testing for their patients. Third, by the end of the year, the health-tech company hopes to expand its presence beyond seven Nigerian cities to Kenya and Ghana.
The funding will assist Healthtracka in its next growth phase as it expands its B2B2C offering, allowing partner companies in Nigeria to provide at-home testing to their employees.
