2go as you all know is a free chat application that can run on any java enabled smartphone.
As you all know, if you forgot your password and wish to reset or retrieve your password, you would be required to send an sms to a number and N30 would be deducted from your mobile phone recharge balance. But with this little trick, you would be able to get your password for free.
Here are the steps.
Visit 2go portal which is wap.2go.im, then select Kenya as your country, then English as your Language. Now click on Get Help, then select I forgot my Password/Pin.
A form would appear for you to input the phone number you used in creating the 2go account. Type your number in international format.
Eg. 2348134434017 . Note that the + sign is not there.
And that’s it. Your password would be sent to you on your phone.

It actually is not possible to get back your password without the actual phone number. I will make research on that anyway. 🙂
