How To Use Your Verve ATM For Online Transactions

Lately i decided to buy some stuffs online, and i just realised that my master card was responding abnormally, due to this incovenience i them made little research if it were possible for someone to use his/her verve card to buy a product online, after my research i found this handy article so i decided to share it with you guys.

Although there are proccesses you need to take before using the card for online transactions, which is registered it for the Interswitch safetoken service .

The Interswitch saftoken is a system that generates a 6-8 digit One-Time-Password (OTP) meaning you need to activate this One-Time-Password whenever a transaction is initiated via the Interswitch Web Payment Platform.

Although not all web merchant sites have integrated the Interswitch Payment gateway using a One Time Password (OTP) as a second level authentication process, the One-Time-Password (OTP) goes alongside with your Card Number, PIN and CVV2 code.

Note: Generating a OTP for your verve card whenever you are carrying out a transaction, you’ll firstly have to register it for the safetoken service. I hope you understand?.

How to get this done:
¤ Walke to the nearest ATM machines in your area.
¤ Insert your Verve card in to the machine.
¤ Input your 4-digit PIN and press Enter as usual.
¤ Youe account type should be selected eg Savings or Current.
¤ Select the ‘Quickteller’ option from the ATM menu screen.
¤ Select ‘Pay Bills’ from the Quickteller menu list on the ATM screen.
¤ Select ‘Others’ for the bill payment menu option list
¤ Enter ‘322222” as the Biller Code
¤ Enter your Phone Number as the Customer Reference Number and select ‘Proceed’.
¤ You will get a display “Do you want to make this payment?” Amount Due: N1.
Note: Editing the amount which is to be paid can cause you a problem, so it’s adviseable no to edit the amount to be paid
¤ Click on “Pay amount due” You will then get a confirmation page indicating the registration was successful.
Now you are done you can now use your verve card to make transactions online.
