The Infinix Hot 12 Pro, the company’s next phone in the Hot 12 series, is now available. It is a low-cost phone with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, making it one of the most affordable phones with that configuration.
The Hong Kong-based company has already teased the phone on Flipkart and revealed some of its specifications. The Infinix Hot 12 Pro will go on sale on August 2 at noon.

Aside from the launch date, the microsite also describes the phone’s unique features and specifications the smartphone will provide.
The Infinix Hot 12 Pro has a 6.6-inch LCD with an HD+ resolution. It features a 90Hz refresh rate, as do other Infinix smartphones such as the Infinix Hot 11s and Infinix Hot 12 Play. It supports a 180Hz touch sampling rate.
The manufacturing company has not revealed this phone’s chipset. It may use the same Unisoc T610 SoC as the Infinix Hot 12 Play, but we won’t know for sure until tomorrow. The brand has revealed in the phone’s specifications that it will use UFS 2.2 storage. It will also be available in a single variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It is the only phone in this segment with this RAM and internal storage combination.
In terms of cameras, the teasers indicate that the phone will have a dual camera setup. The primary camera will be a 50MP camera. In contrast, the secondary camera will most likely be an auxiliary camera with no functions, similar to the secondary cameras in other budget Infinix phones.

The phone will have a 5000mAh battery and will be charged via 18W fast charging. 128GB is usually reserved for phones that cost more than 190 to 200 dollars. Customers would welcome the option of a 128GB storage variant for 120 to 150 dollars.
There aren’t many phones in this price range that have 128GB of internal storage. The Redmi 10A Sport and Tecno Spark 9(opens in new tab) are the only smartphones with 128GB of internal storage. The Infinix Hot 12 Pro is now added to the list. However, this is insufficient; more brands in the budget segment should consider including 128GB as an optional variant.
