Infinix has been very active recently and managed to release several noteworthy devices, and can’t seem to stop expanding its Note 12 lineup. Nothing seems to stop the company from bringing new models to the lineup. There is a standard model, a variant with the MediaTek Helio G96, a Note 12i, a Note 12 VIP (which we recently reviewed), and a Note 12 Pro 5G. The company promised to unveil the world’s first MediaTek Helio G99 phone last month. Enter the new Infinix Note 12 Pro 4G, which recently appeared in an Aliexpress listing.
The 6.7-inch, FullHD+ AMOLED display, dual loudspeaker setup, 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging, and camera setup with a 108MP, f/1.8 (1.92m, 1/1.67″) primary snapper, two 2MP supplementary cameras, and 16MP, f/2.0 selfie cam are all shared by the Note 12 Pro 4G and its 5G sibling.

However, digging through the store listing reveals some differences as well. The 4G model appears to be 7.8mm thinner if the measurements are correct. Other features include NFC, two nano SIM slots, one microSD slot, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The most significant difference, of course, is the switch to a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset. It is built on the TSMC 6nm node and has two 2.2GHz Cortex-A76 cores, six 2.0GHz Cortex-A55 cores, and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It is paired with 8GB of RAM (expandable to 13GB via virtual RAM) and 256GB of expandable storage in this configuration.

According to the listing, the Infinix Note 12 Pro 4G is available in grey or blue for $275.88, a discount from the MSRP of $551.76 or $459.90, depending on whether you believe the image or the site itself. That appears to be the actual MSRP, but if you wait a couple of days and call the seller between July 18 and 22, the price may be even lower at $199.90.
