NANU Android App: Make Free Calls With Your Android Device

The awesome Singaporian app Nanu is an app that allow it’s user’s make free calls on their android phones. The compactability of these app istrenendous, this app doesn’t require a fast network to use, this means that the app works on 2g and congested networks.

Currently this app works on only android phones but hopefuly this app will be available for other OS. Nanu is at time of post unavailable on the Google Play store due to preparation for the next version also, Registration of new users has been discontinued till the upgrade is complete but users who already have account with them can still enjoy the app.

As at the time of post only 44 Countries are supported. Once this appp is installed on your Android device, you’ll be able to call any number locally and Internationally, one thing I like about this app is that you can call any body even if he/she has the app or not.

Note:Non-Nanu user are restricted to 15 Minutes only.

In otherwords, The team revealed that it has an ambitious goal of eventually providing unlimited free Nanu to non-Nanu calls as it amasses users and in turn, advertisers.

Users on small data plans might still be worried about the utility of Nanu with the consumption of 2G data, according to the company, 1MB of data is sufficient for 10 minutes of phone calls.

the number of free minutes and list of countries will grow as more users get on the app, as that will help generate more advertising revenue which can go back into the system to subsidize more calls. Says Michael Nygate (App CEO).

The app also supports calls to landline numbers in about 41 countries and mobile phones in a total of 9 countries which includes:
