SeamlessHR, an HR and payroll tech startup in Nigeria, revealed in its publications on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, that it has raised $10 million in Series A funding. This development comes less than a year after receiving its seed money.
Amongst the investors, in its Series A round were TLcom Capital, Capria Ventures, Lateral Capital, Enza Capital, Ingressive Capital, and other private investors.
Dr. Emmanuel Okeleji and Deji Lana, the current CEO and CTO of SeamlessHR, founded the company in 2018 with the aim to develop world-class cloud solutions to help businesses manage all of their HR activities from a single location.
The company has since then grown its product package from a single product to encompass a Core HR Management system, Performance and Competency Management, HR Analytics, Leave Management, Payroll Management, Recruitment Management, and other important modules.

SeamlessHR stated that in this round, the support of new investors such as TLcom and Capria was extremely important to the company. While, the added investments by Lateral Capital, Enza Capital, and Ingressive Capital are equally noteworthy because they reflect the company’s continued expansion and success.
As one of Africa’s first enterprise-grade HR and payroll SaaS providers that manage the complete lifecycle on a single platform. SeamlessHR’s clients can be found among large African companies like PwC, Flutterwave, Sterling Bank, and spans numerous sectors and regions across Africa.

Seamless HR stated that this funding will be pooled towards the goal of assisting more African businesses in being more productive and successful. The funding has also provided the opportunity for the Startup to broaden its reach and footprint in Southern and East Africa while bolstering its position as Africa’s premier cloud HR and payroll platform.
The Company also revealed that it will be releasing a new embedded financing product to help working people in Africa improve their lives which will integrate new AI and HR data analytics features.
