Infinix Mobile has just unleashed another tablet into the mobile market and this amazing new device is called Joypad 8 a.k.a X800.
This Infinix Joypad 8 X800 which is also known as the also known as (Mini-SIM, dual stand-by) was launched in 2015 and it comes with lots of exciting features like a large screen and other features that can be seen in other flagship smartphones.
Come on with me, so we can all see all the selling points of this new device from Infinix.
Design
Let us get down to the design of this tablet. The Infinix Joypad 8 X800 body is made of plastic and with this, you should know that it is not going to feature a wireless charging technology.
The Infinix Joypad 8 X800 also comes with a huge display, it actually houses a whopping 8.0 inches screen, coupled with 768 x 1204 pixels, 179 pixels per inch (PPI). It also has a display type of TFT capacitive touchscreen with 16,000,000 colors.
The back of this device is almost empty except for the primary camera that is positioned at the center of the upper region, a loudspeaker for playing music and other stuff, and finally an Infinx write-up at the center of this device. Also, at the top of this device, you will find the usual 3.5mm audio port jack.
The Infinix Joypad 8 X800 shows up in only two color options, which is our normal White and Black.
Camera
Down to the selfie camera, this device also comes with a front-facing camera of 2MP, up to 1600 x 1200 pixel pictures. The selfie camera does not arrive with any flash.
Performance
The Infinix Joypad 8 X800 houses a 1GB RAM that uses 1.0GHz dual-core CPU coupled with the Cortex chipset. The 1GB RAM is assisted by an 8GB internal storage that supports an expansion of up to 32GB through the use of an external MicroSD card. The also runs on the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Operating System.
Battery
The Infinix Joypad 8 X800 comes with a whopping 5200mAh Li-Ion battery that is sure of taking you the whole day with just a single charge, coupled with an intensive use.
The sad part of it all is that this device does not feature any wireless charging technology and this is as a result of the plastic body build. Don’t get sad, after all the device still features a huge battery life.
Other Features
- 3.5mm Jack ~ Yes,
- Expandable storage ~ Yes,
- Phone Book can hold up to 2000 Contacts.
Infinix Joypad 8 X800 Price
Under the hood, the Infinix Joypad 8 X800’s price is set at about $ 220 which is approximately equivalent to 80, 000 Naira only.
Verdict
The Infinix Joypad 8 X800 is another device that is okay for an average user, but for those mobile fans that are in the front seat and in the Fastlane of flagship smartphones, I don’t think this one is for you.
It comes with just 1GB RAM, which simply means that you may find it difficult multi-tasking with this device. Apart from the RAM, the cameras are poor coupled with other areas of this device that I think needs to be upgraded.
