One of the biggest Chinese mobile manufacturing company, Tecno has decided to add another smartphone called, Tecno Phantom 6 Plus which is actually a plus size model of Tecno’s 2016 Phantom smartphone series.
This smartphone is far better than its predecessor, the Tecno Phantom 6 with so many exciting and amazing features. The Tecno Phantom 6 Plus arrives with a 6-inch display, a 10-core processor, 4GB RAM, and 64GB built-in storage.

Design
The new Tecno smartphone ships with a full metal body, that is to say, it features a metal-unibody design, which means that the back of this device is not removable. The front of this device houses a Corning Gorilla Glass 3, while the body is made with an aluminum-magnesium alloy. This device is available in a Champagne Gold finish.
The Tecno Phantom 6 Plus features a 6.0-inch LTPS Display, that offers you a 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, which is the exactly the same with that of its predecessor, the Tecno Phantom 6 and the Tecno Phantom 5.
This new device from Tecno is one of the few flagship smartphones that arrives with a dual biometric security, joining the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 which also features the same. The phablet sports a fingerprint sensor just as its predecessor, but this time, the new device also arrives with an iris scanner.
This security feature allows you to be able to unlock this smartphone with your eye scan or fingerprint, or with both. You can also restrict people from accessing most of your confidential files and folders with the sensors.
Tecno Phantom 6 Plus arrives with a gift box that actually gives you some free accessories, that includes an earbud, SIM Eject tool, a USB Type C adapter, Leather cover with Windows Display, and finally a Tampered Screen Protector.
Camera
Remember that the Tecno Phantom 5 was praised by some of its users for shipping with a great camera and the Tecno Phantom 6 Plus is set to continue with the legacy with a Sony IMX230 sensor at the back. The Tecno phantom 6 plus has a 21 megapixels camera with support for phase detection, dual LED flash, and autofocus.
The Tecno Phantom 6 Plus also arrives with an 8 megapixels camera seated in front of this device. The front camera also comes with its own flash just like the back camera.
Performance
The Tecno Phantom 6 Plus comes equipped with the Mediatek Helio X20 chipset. The SoC offers a deca-core processor that is broken-down into two quad-core processors and is clocked at 2.0GHz and 1.55GHz consecutively and a dual-core processor that is clocked at up to 2.1GHz.
The Tecno Phantom 6 Plus processor is assisted by a 4GB RAM, which should make this smartphone able to carry out multiple tasks like, gaming, streaming movies and other related activities. Tecno made claims that this new device performs 70% better and consumes 30% less power compared to the Tecno Phantom 5.
Tecno Phantom 6 Plus runs on the Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) and also arrives with a 64GB internal storage and does not support an external microSD card. This smartphone also supports 4G LTE Cat6, and has a download speed of up to 300 Mbps, which means faster streaming and downloads.
Battery
The Tecno Phantom 6 Plus houses a 4050 mAh non-removable battery. Thankfully, this device also features a fast-charging technology via its reversible USB Type C Port. You will be able to get 240 minutes talk time with just 10 minutes of charge.
