On January 25, 2022, Samsung officially revealed the date for the Galaxy Unpacked 2022 in an official publication. The virtual event will hold on February 9, 2022. The teaser picture used by the company reveals the word S inside a transparent cube, and there’s the subtext “The Epic Standard.” The company also stated that the event will unveil the “most noteworthy S series ever created” based on this statement, the expectation is that Samsung is likely to unveil the Galaxy S22 series, which includes the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra, at the event.

Samsung will reveal two separate lineups during Unpacked 2022: the Samsung Galaxy S22 series and some other series. There are also rumors alleging that the company will begin accepting pre-orders for Galaxy S22 on February 21, 2022, and sales will begin on February 25, 2022.

There are also some speculations that Samsung will likely introduce the Galaxy Tab S8 series during Unpacked 2022. According to some of these tips, the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Plus will have smaller displays and new and sharper 50MP primary cameras. These cameras are also expected to contain some intriguing new features, such as the “Adaptive Pixel” function that is said to be capable of 12MP pixel-binned shots and 108MP images when used in “Remosaic” mode.

Furthermore, the S22 and S22 Plus are expected to be among the first to use Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Gen-1 CPU and Samsung’s new Exynos 2200 CPU with AMD graphics. The new Exynos 2200 CPU comes with a new Xclipse 920 GPU that supports AMD RDNA 2 graphics and ray-tracing. In addition, the Exynos 2200 can record 8K video at 60 frames per second.
