TIDAL now has Siri integration as subscribers to Apple Music may now ask Siri to play songs, playlists, albums, and other material from the site. According to the company’s Twitter account, “TIDAL meets Siri.” Furthermore, the music streaming service reacted to a few customers who had recently complained about the lack of connection with Apple’s assistant.

TIDAL has recently launched another critical feature for Apple Watch users: offline playback on Apple’s watch. However, the music streaming service is incompatible with the HomePod and HomePod mini. Apart from Apple Music, only Deezer and Pandora currently support the HomePod. Unfortunately, Spotify and TIDAL must continue to connect their services with Apple’s speakers.
Since the release of iOS 14.5 last year, you’ve been able to use a default music streaming service to listen to your favourite tracks. Because of TIDAL’s Siri connection, this is now easier than ever. Follow the steps mentioned below to get started:
- Make sure your iPhone or iPad is running iOS 14.5 or later
- Request that Siri play a specific artist, song, or album
- Look for a new pop-up window where you can select which service you want to utilize
- Allow Siri to access data from TIDAL (or another app) by tapping Yes
- Your music should now begin to play

Siri on HomePod currently supports Apple Music, Deezer, iHeartRadio, TuneIn, and Pandora. Apart from Tidal, Spotify is the only other big streaming service that does not currently connect with Siri on HomePod, which has angered customers. The reason for Spotify’s unwillingness to support HomePod is unknown.
Unfortunately, Siri is only available on iOS devices and does not work with Apple’s smart speaker. But, because this is a good start, who knows what might happen in the future. One of the most potent arguments against utilizing a HomePod Mini is the lack of officially supported third-party music providers. It was initially Apple’s fault, but the corporation eventually realized its error and began to open up to others. However, adoption has been gradual, with Spotify even ‘promoting’ Alexa devices if you use Siri with them.
