Popular social media platform – Twitter is on the verge of introducing something very new viz-a-viz the social media which many Twitter may not really like. According to Buzzfeed News , the Twitter timeline will become algorithmic as soon as next week and it will order tweets according to their relevancy and what Twitter thinks its users want to see.
Looking at the changes that Twitter has been undergoing off late, this will probably be the biggest considering the fact that so far it has been using a reverse chronological timeline. This allows you to see the latest tweets (just like on Facebook) as opposed to the most popular ones in your timeline.

As at the time of this post, we have no confirmation as to whether this this new algorithmic timeline on Twitter will be an optional opt-in stuff or maybe all twitter users would be forced to adopt this.
