Due to an upcomming exam, I decided to take a momment off my blog, and a lot of FTB readers have been contacting me about the litle brake, sometime ago, my blog went down due to some hosting issues, but now it’s back and all is in place, trust me, I’ll try as much as I can to make sure I keep you guys updated from now hence forth.

I guess I’m a bit late on this but I still think some of you might have not heard about the new whatsap feature. Whatsapp has finally introduced the voice call functionality and I know a lot of us will love this feature, this is really going to be a very bad time for skype messanger.
Lets go straight to how to enjoy this feature.

Android Users:
Your android device must be running Android 4.4 kitkat for you to enjoy this feature. Every BB10 device will rock this feature aswell, but for all Anroid users, before you’ll be able to make use of this voice call features, you need to download the latest version of Whatsapp (v2.11.508)

Download the latest version by clicking here.

How to Enable Whatsapp’s Voice call on Android Phones

Remember, you must be running Android 4.4 kitkat to enjoy this feature, though some people with OS4.3 Jelly bean still rocking it, but trust me you’ll enjoy this feature very well on Lollipop OS. But I guess this feature will soom be pushed to other devices and OS.

Continue with me if you have downloaded the latest whatsapp from the link above. Now, make sure that the person you want to communicate with, through the whatsapp’s voice call, is already connected to whatsapp, then you must have root access on your android phone.

» Download terminal emulator from here.

After you must have installed the app, and input the below command.

su am start -n com.whatsapp/com.whatsapp.HomeActivity

Now your whatsapp calling feature will immediately be enabled.

When this feature has fully being integrated, we hope to see it on the next whatsappPlus update.

Note: For you to call a person, they must have done the same thing (enabled this feature) in order for that person to receive your call.

Whats’ your say about this new feature?
