  2. In the settings app, select connections
  3. Select mobile networks
  4. Select network mode
  5. Select LTE/WCDMA/GSM (auto connect) to enable  4G LTE network

Activating LTE/WCDMA/GSM auto connect mode will keep a stable 4G network on the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Note devices. This way network won’t drop to 3G or 2G when the network is not very strong.
