Decided to post this because I saw lots of request on this over the internet. Moreover, the mailing companies do not allow people to sign up or register mails via mobile phones for reasons best known to them, except recently gmail started allowing mobile for registration, but as for Yahoo Mail, they still have not.
Here is a trick or rather a the url i’ve been using for some years now to register Yahoo Mail accounts via mobile
Once that page has loaded after following the link, you would see a link there written as Create New Account, click it and fill the email form.
It’s easy and free. Enjoy the mailing experience.

I guess you are making use of a particular line number range that hasn’t been approved on their platform. Why not try another phone number?
