This post would guide you through to installing an SMF from in your cPanel using SOFTACOLOUS. Sign into your cPanel and follow these steps:
1. Click on Softaculous in software category.
2. Scroll down to Forums. Find the SMF link and click on it.
3. Click the Install link.
4. Fill out all of the boxes provided. For In Directory type the name of a new directory you would like created. By default, the box will be left blank to install the software into your main directory. After you fill the boxes, click Install.
5. You will then get a confirmation page of your installation.
And that’s it.
