Amazon is releasing Multilingual mode on Alexa, which allows users in America to speak Spanish to their Alexa devices. Alexa can reply to requests in either English or Spanish, this will just depend on the language in which it was asked. The popular company unveiled the mode at its Echo event in September, and it has now been released in 3 countries in pairs: English and Spanish in America, Indian English, and Hindi in India, and Canadian English and French in Canada. In this article, you will learn how to speak to Alexa in Spanish.
Multilingual mode lets users switch between languages as fast as possible, just the same way bilingual speakers do in their different homes with their families. Amazon had this to say, “With billions of people in the world speaking more than one language, many homes are not homogenous when it comes to languages anymore.”
Months back, the company also launched Amazon Skills Kit that will aid developers in cater to Spanish speakers and these skills are now at the US Skills store for customers to buy.

However, it is not too late to start learning a fresh language.
On the new feature, Amazon’s Senior Vice President of Devices Dave Limp said, “There are billions of households around the world that have dual speakers — sometimes, three languages in a single household. We want Alexa to work great in that.”
