This sounds really crazy. You can updae your facebook status via any device name you feel like. I came up with 2 (two) sites i found that could help you updates your status via such electronic devices as Blackberyy, Windows mobile, Android, and also your own custom device name.
They have a list of devices which you can use in updating your facebook status or to make a post on a friends wall.
2. funnyfacebook.com
Formerly known as funnyfacebook.tk now moved to their own domain. With this site, you not only can make status updates via any device, but also can create update via your custom name.
