We had the Infinix Note 5 earlier a few weeks back and definitely had an idea of what the latest Stylus version of the Infinix Note 5 was going to look like, and yes, most of the things were true. This is the Latest Infinix Phone in as at the time of this post.
As much as some people hinted seeing a notch on this device, this isn’t so as the Infinix Hot S3X seems to be the only Infinix device with that design feature. For the Infinx Note 5 Stylus, we have a nicely built and looking productivity device.
The Infinix Note 5 Pro or Stylus was announced on the 1oth of September 2018. We get to see that this device is heavily built to withstand tough conditions as can be felt from the metal build herein. More so, you might want to check all Infinix Note devices to understand the “build” trend so far on this series.
Design
In an era where smartphone design is split between having a notch and having not, the Infinix Note 5 has is unashamed to remain a device without a notch. It retains a sleek design with rounded corners and a metal finish to cap a durable android device.
The display features a 6.0 inch, 18×9 aspect ratio screen at a pixel per inch rating of 480, screen resolution of 2160 x 1080p and a 500 nits brightness rating.
From information gathered so far, the Infinix Note 5 Stylus should come in 3 color variants which would be Black, Deep Red and Gold.
Camera
I know most people also expected a dual camera setup at the rear, but this is not the case. We are greeted with a 16MP rear camera which also features an LED Flash for better photos in low light.
You also get a 16MP selfie camera at the front so you can also pull those crisp photos of your self too.
Performance
When it comes to performance, we definitely know that the Note 5 Stylus or Pro is meant for productivity and therefore should feature really amazing specs that would see it through the purpose it was manufactured for.
You are greeted with Android 8.1 Oreo straight out of the box, so you get to enjoy the features on this wonderful Android OS.
Also, we have a
Battery
In the Infinix Note 5 Pro Stylus is a 4000mAH Li-ion battery. If you ask me, I had expected something bigger. The Infinix Note 5 came with a slightly larger battery hence, it is reasonable to anticipate a better battery on a device that packs more specification and would also be charging the X-Pen while inserted in it.
As much as a 4000mAh battery would last you through your daily use, Infinix could have made this area stronger than what it seems to be right now.
Price
As at the time of writing this, the Infinix Note 5 Stylus variant isn’t yet out there in the market. In fact, this article is being published as the launch event takes place. But we have a hunch that this smartphone would be sold for about $200 with should be around the neighbourhoods of N72,000 – N75,000 in Nigeria.
Verdict
If you want a nicely designed and awesome looking mid-range device that will carry you through a day’s use while not sacrificing an average user’s smartphone experience, then the Infinix S3X is one smartphone to take a look at. You get premium features such as the dual camera setup, fingerprint and Face Unlock features and most of all, that notch with its polarizing effect.
Do you think the Infinix Note 5 Stylus/Pro is even worth getting over the predecessor? Do you think it is only meant for individuals who would use it for more productive purposes? I’ll love to hear your take on this device in the comments below.

Hmmmm what about someone in Europe, how do you get this hot 5 pro stylus and like how much
I think you might have to get it here in Nigeria (or from Asia) and have it shipped over to your location. Not sure Infinix is currently in the European market at the moment.
