Tecno devices are not new to the Nigerian mobile market as they have been wowing us with cheap and affordable android devices that definitely suit the various needs every mobile user craves for.
This time out, Tecno decided to introduce their first music smartphone, the Tecno Boom J7. Of course, as you must have expected, this device has a re-engineered and better music output quality and it’s one android music phone you’ll love right now in the mobile market.
The Tecno Boom J7 is uniquely designed with sharp edges hereby given it a rectangular feel. This design in my opinion could be as a result of wanting to give the user a better grasp of the device.
This smartphone has a ring at the back to indicate the position of the speaker.
The primary camera in the Tecno boom J7 is specified to be 8MP which is quite awesome as compared to other cheap android devices you might want to lay your hands on.
Also the secondary (front) camera is packed with a 2 million pixel camera sensor, which is quite great for your selfies.
A 5.0 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720, vibrant colors and display density of 294ppi makes the display quite appealing.
Quite impressive with a 1GB RAM, though with the way it was talked about prior release, I was expecting a device with at least 2GB of RAM. The devices is driven by a MediaTek – MT6582 chipset, a 1.3GHz Quad Core processor with Mali-400MP2 graphic processing unit which means your HD games and highly resourceful applications should hopefully run smoothly.
It also sport a 16GB internal memory and has a Micro SD card slot for additional memory.
A battery life similar to that of the Infinix Hot is place in this device. It rocks a 2020mAh battery capacity to sustain your music playing all day long. By optimizing you device, you get an even better and long lasting experience.
Though the Tecno Boom J7 might seem cheap, I would recommend the Infinix hot or hot note as they pack almost same specifications (the Infinix hot Note is even better) at lower prices. I wasn’t quite impressed with the specifications on this device as much.
If you think you are a music lover and need a device specially meant for that, you might want to consider this device.
Now your turn? Let me know why you’ll purchase the Boom J7. Before leaving your comments, you can see the full specifications of the device below.
