Glo Data Plans in Nigeria (2026): Prices and Codes

Every Glo data plan is bought from one menu: dial *312# and choose. Glo’s website no longer prints a separate code for each plan, and the *127* codes this page used to list are not on it. Of the plans on this page, only the Always ON ones have direct codes, and those are in a table further down.

On price, the plan to know about is not in the monthly list. Always ON gives 30GB for ₦5,000, where the ordinary ₦5,000 monthly plan gives 16.5GB, and 2GB of that only works after midnight. We went through every plan on Glo Nigeria’s own data pages and worked out what a gigabyte costs on each.

Daily, weekly and monthly plans

Most Glo plans come in two parts: data you can use at any hour, and night data that works only from 12am to 5am. Glo adds the two together in its headline figure, so these tables split them. The prices per gigabyte count 1GB as 1,024MB, the way Glo’s own rates do.

Daily plans

Glo lists the ₦350 and ₦500 plans under “Special data bundles”. They are the ones to buy if you top up a day at a time: a gigabyte on the ₦100 plan costs more than twice what it does on the ₦350 one.

Weekly plans

Glo lists a second ₦1,500 seven-day plan among its special bundles, with 3.9GB plus 2GB of night data. The weekly one above gives 100MB more for the same money.

Always ON plans

Always ON plans hand out a fixed share of data each day at midnight. Whatever you do not use moves to the next day, until the plan expires. In exchange for that daily ration you get far more data for the money, and none of it is tied to the night hours.

The first code buys the standard plan. Glo labels the second set “One Off”, the version that is bought once and does not renew. Always ON cannot be gifted to another number, and if you finish a day’s share early you wait for midnight or buy another plan.

Night, weekend and special plans

The night and weekend plans have rules of their own about hours and renewal. They are on our page about the Glo night plan.

Campus Booster costs the same as the ordinary plans and gives double the anytime data, but only while you are connected through one of the campus sites Glo lists. Away from them you get the ordinary plan’s volume.

With a Magic bundle, plan around the smallest bonus. Glo guarantees 3GB in all for ₦1,600 and 9GB for ₦3,500; anything above that is luck.

The cheapest price per gigabyte

At the other end, the ₦50 daily plan works out at ₦1,280 for a gigabyte of anytime data, about eight times the best Always ON rate. The smallest plans are the dearest by a wide margin.

Read the night data honestly. On the ₦1,000 monthly plan, 1.5GB of the 2.6GB works only between midnight and 5am. If you are asleep then, you have paid ₦909 a gigabyte, not the ₦385 the headline suggests.

Which plan to pick

• Mostly WhatsApp and social apps: My-G at ₦1,000 gives 3.5GB for 30 days on WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat and three other apps. The ordinary ₦1,000 monthly plan gives 1.1GB of anytime data. If you also need Facebook, X or Telegram, the ₦500 social plan gives 1.8GB for 15 days.
• You buy data a day at a time: ₦350 for 1GB. On a Tuesday, with the Glo Café app, ₦200 buys the same gigabyte.
• A week at a time: ₦1,500 for 4GB plus 2GB at night. The ₦500 weekly plan looks cheap, but only 550MB of it works in the daytime.
• A month of steady use: Always ON at ₦5,000. A gigabyte a day, 30GB in all, for the price of the 16.5GB monthly plan. At ₦3,500, Always ON gives 15GB, where the ₦3,000 and ₦4,000 monthly plans give 8.5GB and 10.5GB of anytime data.
• A month of uneven use: if you need several gigabytes on some days and little on others, the daily ration will get in your way. Take an ordinary monthly plan, and skip the ₦2,500 one: ₦500 more buys the ₦3,000 plan and doubles the anytime data from 4.25GB to 8.5GB.
• Heavy use: Always ON at ₦7,000 gives 45GB. The ₦10,000 monthly plan gives 42GB, and 4GB of that is night data. Above that, ₦20,000 for 105GB is the first ordinary plan under ₦200 a gigabyte.
• Students: Campus Booster, if your campus is on Glo’s list. ₦2,000 gets 6.5GB plus 3.5GB at night there, against 3.25GB plus 3GB on the ordinary plan.
• A new SIM: Glo’s Oga SIM offer doubles the data on ordinary plans from ₦50 to ₦5,000 for about the first four months. Our page on what a new Glo SIM gets has the details.

Codes for buying and checking

Glo’s website gives no direct codes for the daily, weekly or monthly plans, so treat any long list of them with suspicion. The same plans are sold on hsi.glo.com, which Glo says to open on a Glo SIM, and in the Glo Café app, where Glo promises 10% extra data on plans bought there.

The app’s 100GB sign-up bonus is smaller than it sounds. Glo’s FAQ for the app says 75GB arrives at once and expires at midnight the same day. The rest comes as 5GB a month for five months, and each of those lasts a day too.

Rollover, renewal and running out

When you buy a plan, the menu asks whether it should renew automatically or be a one-off purchase. Choose one-off if you do not want airtime taken again when it expires.

Unused anytime data rolls over if you buy another plan of the same kind before the old one expires, or within a short grace period after: one day for a one-day plan, three days for plans of 2 to 29 days, and seven days for plans of 30 days or more. Glo’s FAQ says bonus data is not rolled over.

You can hold several plans at once. Plans of the same kind are merged and take the latest expiry date. One plan can also be shared with up to five other Glo numbers.

When your data finishes, browsing stops. Glo’s FAQ says airtime is only used once you opt in with *108*1#, at ₦3 per MB. That is ₦3,072 a gigabyte, about twenty times what the ₦7,000 Always ON plan charges, so leave it off unless you are stuck.

Not quite. The ₦1,000 weekly plan is 3.7GB, of which 2GB is night data. Campus Booster at ₦1,000 is 4.2GB for 30 days, 2GB of it night data, but only on Glo’s listed campus sites.

Which Glo data plans have no night data in them?

Among the all-purpose plans: the ₦350 one-day plan (1GB), the ₦750 plan (1.1GB for 14 days), every Always ON plan and the Mega plans. All of their data works at any hour.
