GOtv Plus Channels in Nigeria: The Package Is Now Jolli
GOtv Plus was withdrawn in 2020 and GOtv Jolli took its place. Jolli costs ₦5,800 a month for 65+ channels. This is the channel list on GOtv's own page.
Jolli arrived in December 2019 as the package one step below Max, which is where Plus used to sit. GOtv sold the two side by side for six months and then stopped selling Plus, and MultiChoice still pairs the two names in its own documents. So the GOtv Plus channel list people look for is now the Jolli list. It has the Africa Magic channels, Zee World, Telemundo, ROK 2, ESPN, CNN and BBC World News. It does not have SuperSport Football.
When this article was first written in 2018, Plus cost ₦1,900 a month. Jolli is ₦5,800, just over three times as much. ₦1,900 now pays for Smallie, GOtv’s smallest package.
Old GOtv package names and the new ones
| Old package | Package in its place | Per month | Channels |
|---|---|---|---|
| GOtv Max | GOtv Max (name unchanged) | ₦8,500 | 75+ |
| GOtv Plus | GOtv Jolli | ₦5,800 | 65+ |
| GOtv Value | GOtv Jinja | ₦3,900 | 45+ |
| GOtv Lite | GOtv Smallie | ₦1,900 | 35+ |
The prices and channel counts are the ones on GOtv’s own website. Supa (₦11,400) and Supa Plus (₦16,800) sit above Max. They were added after the old names had gone.
How Plus became Jolli
MultiChoice Nigeria introduced Jolli and Jinja on 1 December 2019. Jolli was ₦2,400 a month, which was ₦500 more than Plus, and it came with a longer channel list. Plus and Value subscribers were given a free two-week preview of the new packages.
The old and new packages stayed on sale together until the start of June 2020, when Plus and Value came off GOtv’s packages page. Lite became Smallie a few months later.
So Jolli was a replacement more than a rename. MultiChoice treats the two as one tier all the same: the terms of a GOtv promotion it ran in 2025 describe paying for Jolli as paying for Plus, Jinja as Value and Smallie as Lite.
GOtv Jolli channels list
GOtv’s Jolli page shows the channels as logos with their channel numbers, grouped by type. This is that list.

That is 63 logos for a package GOtv sells as 65+, so read it as GOtv’s published list and not a promise of every channel. Two entries needed GOtv’s TV guide to name them. Channel 17 has no logo on the page, and the guide calls it Afia TV. Channels 26 and 124 both show a plain NTA logo, and the guide has them as NTA News 24 and NTA International.
The TV guide also tags a few channels to Jolli that the package page does not show. Where the two disagree we have gone with the package page, because that is what GOtv sells the package on.
Sport on Jolli
The package page shows four sports channels: SuperSport Blitz, Kickoff and Africa, and ESPN. SuperSport Football and SuperSport LaLiga are missing. Those start at Max, and the Premier League channel is on Supa Plus alone.
There is one addition the page has not caught up with. GOtv has announced SportyTV, a 24-hour sports channel, on Jolli at channel 58. GOtv says it carries around 750 live events a year, with football from leagues including the Premier League and LaLiga. It does not say which matches, so do not buy Jolli for one fixture without checking the TV guide first.
What Max adds
Max is ₦8,500 a month, ₦2,700 more than Jolli. GOtv’s Max page shows everything in the Jolli list and 13 more channels:
- Sport: SuperSport Football and SuperSport LaLiga.
- Movies: M-Net Legends, Movie Room and Cine Magic.
- Children: Cartoon Network and Moonbug Kids.
- Music: MTV, Trace Naija and Trace Gospel.
- Everything else: Star Life, Investigation Discovery and The Wedding Channel.
Jinja, Jolli or Max
| Package | Per month | Twelve months | What you are paying for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jinja | ₦3,900 | ₦46,800 | Africa Magic, Nickelodeon and the local stations |
| Jolli | ₦5,800 | ₦69,600 | The above, with Zee World, Telemundo, ESPN, CNN and BBC World News |
| Max | ₦8,500 | ₦102,000 | The above, with the two football channels, more movies and Cartoon Network |
If you were on Plus, Jolli is the like-for-like choice. Dropping to Jinja saves ₦1,900 a month and costs you 14 channels, Zee World, Telemundo, ROK 2, ESPN, Disney Junior, CNN and BBC World News among them. Going up to Max costs ₦32,400 more over a year. That is worth it for SuperSport Football and LaLiga, or for a child who wants Cartoon Network, and for little else.
Paying for Jolli
GOtv prices Jolli by the month only. Smallie is the one package it sells by the quarter or the year.
If you are buying a decoder as well, GOtv’s website sells it as a ₦15,000 bundle with the GOtenna antenna and one month of Jolli included. A first year on Jolli is then ₦15,000 plus eleven months at ₦5,800, which comes to ₦78,800.
Our guide to all six GOtv packages and their prices sets Jolli beside the rest. If it was Lite you were on, the GOtv Lite channels list covers Smallie.
One caution. MultiChoice has said refreshed DStv and GOtv packages are on the way and has not published the details, so the names above may not be the last ones.
This page covers GOtv Nigeria. GOtv runs separate sites for Kenya, Uganda, Zambia and its other countries, so use the one for where you live.
