Spectranet Office Near Me: All Shop Addresses in Nigeria

Spectranet lists 21 shops on its website: 16 in Lagos, three in Abuja, one in Ibadan and one in Port Harcourt. Alongside them are 55 smaller kiosks, 49 in Lagos and six in Abuja. If all you need is help with an account, call the helpline on 0800 234 5678. It is toll-free, and Spectranet says it is open round the clock.

The addresses below are the ones on Spectranet’s own shop locations page, in its own spelling. This page first went up in 2014 with 14 Lagos shops and seven in Abuja. Of those seven, only the Bangui Street shop is still at the same address, and in Lagos the Opebi and Apapa shops have moved. Do not trust an older list, ours included.

Spectranet shops in Lagos

Four of the sixteen are in Ikeja: Computer Village, Motorways at Alausa, Ogba and Opebi.

Spectranet shops in Abuja

Shops in Ibadan and Port Harcourt

Spectranet lists no other shop in either city, and no kiosks there.

Before you go

Spectranet does not publish opening hours for its shops. Each shop has its own phone number, so ring it before you set out, above all on a Saturday or a public holiday.

From what Spectranet’s pages say, a shop is where you can buy a device, renew a plan, and pay by POS or in cash. It is also where you go to close an account: the code of practice says you visit an outlet and fill in a termination form.

Most other things do not need a trip. You can renew through the Selfcare site or app, pay on Quickteller with your User ID, and order a MiFi or router from the e-shop on Spectranet’s website.

Spectranet kiosks in Lagos

Kiosks are listed by address only, with no phone numbers, and the page does not say which services a kiosk offers. For a faulty device or an account problem, ring a shop or the helpline first. These are in the order Spectranet lists them.

Spectranet customer care

Spectranet’s code of practice says to report a fault on the helpline first. If it cannot be settled by phone, you put the complaint in writing, and the company says it will try to resolve it within 30 days.

Spectranet’s site does not name a head office. The nearest it comes is that mailing address in Ikeja, which is not on the shop list, so it is not the place to go to buy a device.

Where Spectranet has coverage

Shops and coverage are separate questions. On its About page Spectranet says service is available across Lagos, Abuja, Ibadan and Port Harcourt, with other cities to follow. Its home page speaks of more than 120 cities and towns, and says home fibre is in selected estates only.

The two pages do not agree, so do not buy a device on the strength of either. The home page has a coverage checker: enter your area and it says if that area is in the 4G LTE footprint. It confirms cities outside the four, Enugu and Kano among them, though neither has a shop or kiosk on the list.

Read its answer closely, because it matches loosely and names the place it found. When we entered Maiduguri, it answered for Idu in Abuja.
